We only collect personal information that is necessary for the provision of our services, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We will retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal or regulatory requirements. Once personal information is no longer needed, we will securely dispose of it.

Our customers have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal information. We will promptly notify our customers in the event of a data breach that may compromise their personal information.

We receive and store any information our customers knowingly enter on our Scadsys suite of applications, which may include personal information such as name, username, email address, phone number, profile picture, school and location, and any other information necessary for us to provide our services. Our Scadsys portal displays personal data about children such as profile picture, names, learning and behaviour notes, attendance records, contact information, and other information necessary for the use of our services. It is the sole responsibility of each school to adopt adequate technical and organizational measures to protect this information, and ScadCo shall not be held liable for any breaches resulting from the misconduct of the school or its employees.

We do not rent or sell our customers' personal information.

We take information security seriously and protect our customers' Scadsys account personal information with a password. Customers may help protect against unauthorized access to their account and personal information by selecting and protecting their password appropriately and limiting access to their computer and browser by signing off after they have finished accessing their account. However, we cannot guarantee the security of user information due to unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors.

Our customers have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict processing, object, and request a copy of their personal data. We will not charge any fees to access personal information or exercise any of the other rights. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if the request is clearly unfounded or excessive. Description of goods and/or services

When trading on this web site the client will be trading with a selected School or College. ScadCo will facilitate the trading between client and school/college with its software solutions. No trading will be done directly with ScadCo.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of an order number.

Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by School/College is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, School/College will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 2-3% administration fee depending on the school/college.

Customer Privacy policy

ScadCo shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from here.

Payment options accepted

Payments may be made via Visa and MasterCards and other methods like Zapper.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for School/College via PayGate or PayFast who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate/PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za or www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by ScadCo separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate/PayFast’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate/PayFast refer to www.paygate.co.za or www.payfast.co.za.

Merchant Outlet country and Transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and ScadCo chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation

ScadCo may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
